Description:

Based on J.M. Barrie's classic tale and featuring an unforgettable score by Morris "Moose" Charlap and Jule Styne with lyrics by Carolyn Leigh and Betty Comden and Adolph Green, Peter Pan is one of the most beloved and frequently performed family favorites of all time. This high-flying Tony Award-winning musical has been performed around the world and delighted audiences for 60 years.

Peter and his mischievous fairy sidekick, Tinkerbell, visit the nursery of the Darling children late one night and, with a sprinkle of pixie dust, begin a magical journey across the stars that none of them will ever forget. In the adventure of a lifetime, the travelers come face to face with a ticking crocodile, a band of bungling pirates and, of course, the villainous Captain Hook.

Featuring the iconic songs, "I'm Flying," "I've Gotta Crow," "I Won't Grow Up" and "Never Never Land," and a rousing book full of magic, warmth and adventure, Peter Pan is the perfect show for the child in all of us... who dreamed of soaring high and never growing up. Peter Pan is a dream come true for theatres looking to spread their technical wings and entertain countless families.

We are so excited to have your student audition for our shows! Please list BOTH shows so that they have a better chance at being cast in one of the shows. There is no guarantee of being cast in a show, particularly when "BOTH" is not listed, though we always do our best to cast our students, and we try to give them their preference when possible. If you have a scheduling conflict preventing you from participating in one of our two winter shows, please email Lindsey at shows@CYTSanAntonio.org. Continue reading for important info.

Peter Pan Monologues:  Coming Soon

Students will need to prepare:
*A one minute cut of a song (this song should NOT be from the show your student is auditioning for. We suggest something Disney if this is your first time auditioning. Your track needs to be a karaoke track with no words)
*A one minute or less monologue (you can use a provided monologue - (you may use a Monologue from EITHER show (Anne of Green Gables or Peter Pan) OR you can select your own monologue if you would like.
*Please have your student bring a notecard listing their show preference, as well as their top 3 roles they are interested in. This in no way means that they will be called back for one of these roles. This is just a fun, and appropriate way for students to communicate their interests to the directors.
