An Illinois native, Tamara Flood is a veteran of CYT Chicago. where she was able learn from excellent instructors with a large breadth of experience. It was there that she learned the basics and beyond, including tap, jazz, hip-hop, and swing. After CYT, Tamara continued on in the performing arts. While on her college speech team, she received awards for her speech writing, delivery, and dramatic work. She also choreographed for a children’s theater group, including summer camps and productions, such as Frozen Jr., Once Upon a Mattress, and more. Tamara is very excited to join CYT San Antonio! She is committed to creating a positive and challenging environment where students can build confidence, improve their skills, and develop a lifelong love for theater.
