Studio Classes offer an immersive and intensive training experience tailored to meet the needs of serious performers. Classes in acting, singing, dancing, and other theatrical disciplines will dive into one specific area of focus. This approach gives students the time it takes to move beyond basics to skill mastery. Scheduled from August to May, these classes provide a structured environment for students seeking to elevate their skills and grow in community. Students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a diverse range of classes, including specialized areas like Hip Hop, Tap, Vocal Performance, and Acting. Schedule

We're excited to announce the schedule for our Studio Classes at CYT Dallas! From August through May, students will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a diverse range of classes, including specialized areas like Tap, Vocal Performance, and more. This preliminary schedule allows flexibility, offering students the option to enroll in multiple classes per day if they choose.

A Note on Intermediate/Advanced Studio Classes

As we launch our Studio Class program, placement into Intermediate/Advanced classes will be based on each class's listed prerequisites and skill requirements. These classes are By Instructor Approval Only.

Before registering, families should carefully review the class description to ensure their student meets all of the required criteria. Students enrolling in Intermediate/Advanced classes should already possess the skills outlined in the class description. Students may be required to submit an audition for some studio classes.

Foundation classes are open to all students and have no prerequisites. These classes are designed to build strong fundamentals and are the perfect starting point for students who are new to a discipline or are continuing to develop their skills.

Our goal is to place every student in the class where they will be challenged appropriately, experience success, and continue growing as a performer. If you have questions about the best placement for your student, we're happy to help. Please note that instructors reserve the right to recommend a different class placement if another level would better support a student's success and growth. Studio Classes – Tuition & Attendance Policies

Tuition Policies

Tuition Schedule: Studio Class tuition covers the full season (August–May) and is divided into nine equal monthly payments billed from September through May. Monthly tuition reserves your student's place in their selected class(es) and is due regardless of attendance.
Consistent Monthly Payments: Tuition remains the same each month regardless of the number of class meetings. Some months may include more class sessions than others.
Pay-in-Full Discount: Families who choose to pay the full season's tuition in advance will receive a 5% discount.
Payment Due Date: Monthly tuition is due on the 1st of each month.
Late Fees: A $20 late fee per student will automatically be assessed to accounts with unpaid tuition on the 10th of each month.
Delinquent Accounts: Students with delinquent tuition accounts may be removed from Studio Classes until the account is brought current.
Returned Checks: A $25 fee will be charged for all returned checks.
Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued for any month in which classes have already been held. Tuition paid in full for the season is non-refundable.
Special Circumstances: Families experiencing prolonged illness or injury should contact the CYT office to discuss possible tuition accommodations.

Withdrawal Policy

Studio Classes are a 10-month commitment designed to provide consistent, progressive training throughout the school year. Because tuition commitments are included in CYT San Antonio – New Braunfels' annual budget planning, advance notice is required for withdrawals.
To withdraw from a Studio Class, families must:

Submit written notice to the Education Staff at least 30 days before the 1st day of the month they wish to discontinue tuition.
Complete and submit the official Studio Class Drop Form.

Failure to provide both written notice and the completed drop form will result in continued tuition charges.
Example: To avoid being charged October tuition, written notice and the completed drop form must be received by September 1.
Thank you for helping us maintain a stable and consistent Studio Class program for all families.

Studio Class Policies

Attendance

Regular attendance is essential to student growth and the success of each class.
Students who miss three classes within a session (Fall, Winter, or Spring) may be removed from the class. If the student is also participating in a CYT San Antonio – New Braunfels production, missing three classes may also result in removal from the production.

Instructor & Schedule Changes

CYT San Antonio – New Braunfels reserves the right to provide substitute instructors, adjust class schedules, combine classes, or make other changes as needed to best serve the program.

Weather & Studio Closures

In the event of inclement weather or another required studio closure, families will be notified by email and through CYT social media channels.
While CYT generally follows local school closure recommendations, we reserve the right to make independent decisions based on local conditions and facility availability.
When possible, makeup classes will be scheduled and may be offered either in person or virtually.

Studio Pricing Structure

Your monthly tuition payments will be automatically billed to the card on file. Tuition is due on the 1st of every month and will be processed through auto-billing. You will receive an emailed receipt promptly after your tuition is billed on the 1st. For detailed tuition rates, please refer to our rate sheet.

CYT Studio Class tuition covers the entire programming season from August to May. Payment for the full season is mandatory for all students and is not based on the number of classes per month or attendance. Please note that there are no refunds for missed classes; however, we offer makeup classes in similar styles to accommodate missed sessions.

Unlimited Family Package- $600/Month

We're excited to offer an Unlimited Family package. Take as many studio classes as you want for the entire family!

Family Unlimited Package:

3 students: Full Price: $795 (you would save $195 with UNLIMITED FAMILY PRICING)
4 students: Full Price: $1,060 (you would save $460 with UNLIMITED FAMILY PRICING)
5 students: Full Price: $1,325 (you would save $725 with UNLIMITED FAMILY PRICING)

The Class I Want is Full!

Our CYT classes can fill up quickly and we want to make sure you're on the waiting list for the class you want. Students will be added to a class in the order in which the class waiting list form is filled out.
We highly suggest signing up for your second class choice class while you remain on the waiting list.
You will only be notified if you are being moved off of the waiting list and into the class. Please email our Program Coordinator if you need to be added to a waitlist.
