We're off to see the wizard! This beloved tale, in which a Kansas farm girl travels over the rainbow to discover the magical power of home, has entertained audiences for generations. Follow the Yellow Brick Road with Dorothy in this stage adaptation of an iconic film classic!

This production is a little different from normal CYT Mainstage Shows in that we are presenting this show performance VIRTUALLY! We are excited to be using a different medium to bring this show to audiences in new and exciting way. Auditions:
This show has now been cast. Congratulations to all of the amazing students who auditioned!

Rehearsals:
Rehearsals will begin Friday, Sept. 11th and will end Saturday, Nov. 14th.

The rehearsal schedule for this show will look different than a normal CYT production as we are learning the material and filming the show in small sections. Please view the attached schedule for detailed information.
Please note that the following days/times will be used in this show process: Tuesday from 6:45-8:45pm, Friday from 5:30-8:30pm, and Saturday from 10:30am-4:30pm. During filming, our evening times may extend until 9:30pm.

Production Fees and Ticketing:
Production Fees for this show are $150. 

Block ticketing will not be used for this show since performances will be virtual and ticketing will be done through the Show Streaming site, ShowTix4U. That means that while families are not required to purchase and resell a specific amount of tickets, we are asking that each family share the ticketing link with relatives and friends with the intent of 6 tickets being sold as a result of their sharing. More information will be coming with details!
