Description

Every great show needs the perfect props to bring the story to life—and now you get to make them! In Props for Teens, students will dive into the creative and practical world of prop design and construction.

Students will:
  • Learn how to plan, design, and build stage props using a variety of materials
  • Explore painting, crafting, and problem-solving techniques
  • Work collaboratively to create props that could be used in real CYT productions
  • Showcase their work at the end of the session!
This class is perfect for creative teens who love to build, paint, and imagine the details that make a stage world feel real. Whether you’re crafty, artistic, or just love being part of the behind-the-scenes magic, this class will spark your creativity and your toolkit!

*Our Winter Showcase for ALL New Braunfels classes will be MONDAY- February 2nd at New Braunfels Bible Church.

I am so excited to join CYT as a teacher this session. I am a mom of 2 and our family has been big fans of CYT for years. I love to read and spend my time volunteering and cheering on my kids at their various activities including theater, baseball and volleyball. Doing a variety of crafts, especially when it helps to bring a CYT production to life, are things that bring me so much joy, so I am looking forward to an amazing, fun-filled session with these teens!
