Musical Theater Jazz: Technique and Conditioning is designed to help young dancers grow in both confidence and skill as they explore the expressive, story-driven style of musical theatre jazz. In this upbeat and supportive class, students will focus on developing clean technique, strong lines, and controlled movement while learning to perform with personality and emotion. Alongside choreography, dancers will "train like a dancer" through conditioning exercises that build strength, flexibility, and endurance - helping them move with greater power, precision, and grace. This class blends artistry and discipline, giving students the tools to shine both on stage and in the studio.

*Our Winter Showcase for ALL New Braunfels classes will be MONDAY- February 2nd at New Braunfels Bible Church.

Allyson is thrilled to join CYT as a teacher this semester! She has a heart for helping students grow in both skill and character through a Christlike perspective. Her dance journey began in high school, where she trained in a variety of styles including ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and swing. A proud Texas A&M University graduate (whoop!), she has since returned to the Hill Country, where she works for a nonprofit, serves in her church community, and enjoys staying active. Passionate about strong technique, she loves guiding students as they refine their movements and continue to grow as dancers for the glory of God.
