Description

This is the class that combines the three elements of musical theatre: voice, dance and acting. Be a part of the wonderful world of musical theatre by exploring storytelling, choreography, vocal technique, and character development!

This high-energy class will include warm-ups, group activities, dance routines, theatre games and performance. Students will learn to how perform a musical theatre number with an ensemble from start to finish while demonstrating confidence, focus, energy, and stage presence.

Theme will be decided in first class!

*Our Fall Showcase for ALL New Braunfels classes will be Monday, Oct. 13th at New Braunfels Bible Church.

Nathan Carnes

Hey CYT Families! My name is Nathan Carnes and I have been blessed to be involved in this wonderful organization, with my 3 kiddos, for the last 3 years. I love theatre and the performing arts. I grew up actively involved in it and have enjoyed seeing my kids love it as well. I am looking forward to teaching Drama vs. Comedy and Musical Theatre for Teens this round of classes!
