Description

Musical theater contains so many wonderful, inspiring, and catchy songs. In this beginner/intermediate vocal class, we will explore songs through the various musical theater songs we know and love! In addition to expanding your repertoire, this class will help you take your singing abilities to the next level. Students will learn the basics of vocal health and good technique by learning correct posture, proper breathing, and placement. Students will be trained to sing with a group by learning how to follow parts and harmonize and encouraged to sing solos. This exciting class is part vocal technique, part celebration of this art form we all know and love!

*Our Spring Showcase for all New Braunfels classes will be Monday, May 20th at New Braunfels Bible Church.

I'm a mother of 3 and wife to Joe! I have a vocal performance degree from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor and LOVE jazz and blues and musical theatre! I'm so glad to be back teaching at CYT and to have my son and daughters try out for shows! We love our CYT family and think this is a very special safe place for kids to learn theater skills, music and dance. I have been the musical director for Aladdin Jr., Annie Jr. and Frozen Jr. and have also been the Director for The Little Mermaid!! My whole family was involved with CCT's Beauty and the Beast! We love CYT!
