Film & Editing for Teens introduces students to the exciting world of filmmaking both in front of and behind the camera. Teens will learn the fundamentals of visual storytelling, including basic cinematography, shot composition, storyboarding, and video editing. Using age-appropriate technology and hands-on projects, students will collaborate to plan, film, and edit short scenes or films while developing creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. This class is perfect for teens interested in acting for the camera, directing, or learning how stories come to life through film, all within a positive and supportive CYT environment.

**Our Spring Showcase for both Monday and Thursday classes will be Monday May 4th at Freedom Fellowship Church.

Caleb Phelps

Hi, I’m Caleb Phelps, a creative professional with a background in media and design. I work in video production and visual media, focusing on turning ideas into finished projects through planning, collaboration, and creativity. Outside of work, I’m a husband and father, and my daughter Lucia loves performing with CYT. Being involved in the CYT community has given me an appreciation for the creative process from both a parent and professional perspective. I’m excited to bring my experience in media and production into the classroom through a video-based class that blends creativity and performance.
