Bobby Tschoepe
Artistic Director
A native Texan, Bobby Tschoepe is a graduate of Texas Lutheran University receiving his Music Education degree with Vocal Emphasis. Bobby has performed in many environments, including church dramas, choirs, and several worship teams, including his home church, Northpoint where he is also Music Director. Bobby also teaches theater and choir at New Braunfels Christian Academy.
Bobby is an active performer who was seen most recently as Jetsam in The Little Mermaid (Zilker Theater Productions). He is also frequently seen at the Magik Theater and The Public Theater of San Antonio (most recently Crutchie in Newsies). As a CYT alumni, Bobby has been in shows including Peter Pan Jr. and Seussical the Musical, and he has assisted with several seasons of CYT shows in multiple capacities, including directing, choreography, music, green room, tech, and backstage crew. He enjoys helping kids develop the gifts and abilities God has given them. Psalms 92 and 103
Chris Norris
Managing Director
Chris is a native of Iowa Park, Texas. He has always loved Broadway and theatre arts in general, but sports, music, and entrepreneurship were his passions growing up. Chris enlisted in the United States Navy in 2000 and served for 20 plus years. He received a Computer Science and Mathematics degree within the University of Texas NJROTC program and was commissioned as a Naval Officer in 2007. Chris was designated a Naval Aviator in 2009 and flew the SH-60B and MH-60R Seahawk Helicopters. He earned his Master of Business Administration from Saint Leo University. Chris and his wife Cally have six beautiful girls, Netalie, Necayl, Nelayna, Neria, Nerissa, and Neyci. Neyci and Nerissa have performed in multiple shows over the past 2 years and Chris joined us on stage during our 2021 inaugural CCT performance in The Sound of Music! Chris has enjoyed working on several set committees and looks forward to doing life with the CYT team and family!
Naomi Tulp
Area Coordinator
Naomi, a Washington native, moved to Texas in 2014. She was involved in musical theater all through her childhood, performing in shows like Sound of Music, Oliver, Wizard of Oz, and A Comedy of Errors. Moving on from theater, Naomi became involved in different musical groups, from jazz choirs to worship teams, and Christian bands. (You can even find her on iTunes!) She married her partner in life, Chad, in 2000 and quickly followed with 3 amazing children, Austin, Emma, and Jackson. Emma and Jackson have been in multiple CYT productions over the past 2 years. In watching her kids grow in talent and character, she knew she wanted to get more plugged into the CYT organization. She loves working with the amazing staff at CYT and serving the families and communities of the greater San Antonio area!
Danielle McCune
HYPE Advisor
Danielle McCune is a proud graduate of Texas State University where she earned her BFA degree in Theatre: Performance and Production, with a minor in Music. She trained for many years at Amy’s All Star Dance Studio in Schertz, TX where she was not only a member of the competition team, but also had the opportunity to choreograph some of their award winning routines. She has also performed in several musical theatre productions in the San Antonio/New Braunfels area. However, most of her production credits can be found as part of an artistic team.
She is also a proud member of her church’s choir and works with Edge, their middle school youth group. In addition to teaching classes at CYT, she is blessed to be the adviser to HYPE. She loves being a part of the CYT family and being able to share her God-given passion for the arts!
