Just the word “audition” can make a person feel nervous. This workshop is the answer to overcoming your fear of auditions! You will get pointers and critique that will be valuable in the future, whether you are auditioning for future CYT Productions like Peter Pan or auditioning for shows in entirely different companies! Work with CYT Directors and upcoming Artistic Team members as they help prepare you for success! You'll learn tricks to help you stand out as you learn to win the hearts of the director and get in the show. Skills to be covered include: song selection, the “do’s and don’ts” of auditioning, audition etiquette, as well as the opportunity to get feedback on audition piece performance, and a short dance workshop. Open for kids ages 8-18.
This workshop is $20 for the first child, $10 for sibling. Fee includes lunch (pizza, water bottle, cookie). To register, please purchase the appropriate ticket.
