Class Description

Have you ever wondered what it takes to dance in shows like The Nutcracker and Cinderella? In Ballet for Kids, students will learn what it takes to dance as gracefully as the performers they see on stage! Ballet is a foundational dance style and will help students grow in all areas of dance performance.

Araya Feeney

Araya Feeney is a CYT alum, having graduated from high school this past spring. She received theatrical training from a young age, and was a member of ZACH theatre's Pre-Professional Company for 3 years. Araya decided to take a gap year due to Covid-19, however will be attending school for Musical Theatre next fall. Araya was blessed with the opportunity to choreograph for CYT's production of "The Wizard of Oz", and is super excited to be teaching Beginning Ballet and Musical Theater for Kids. Psalm 46:1-3
