Camp Description

If you are a teen looking for a show to do this summer that's high-intensity, fast-paced, and a blast to perform, then the teen Summer Stock production is for you. Over the course of 6 days, students will audition for, rehearse for, and perform a Broadway musical. With performances on Saturday at 3pm and 7pm, and Sunday at 3pm, you'll have the opportunity to grow as performer, develop your skills, and put another show on your resume with CYT. We can't wait to see you there!

Laugh yourself silly with Junie B. Jones in this hilarious Broadway Junior adaptation of Barbara Park's beloved series.

Join Junie B. on her first day of first grade, where many changes are in store: Junie's best friend Lucille has found new best friends - and Junie B. makes friends with Herb, the new kid at school. While in Mr. Scary's class Junie has trouble reading the blackboard - and she may need glasses. Add in a friendly cafeteria lady, an intense kickball tournament and a "Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal," and first grade has never been more exciting!

Counselor:

Jackie Parma

My name is Jackie Parma, I was so privileged to be the choreographer for Godspell, assistant choreographer for Shrek and teach Tap 1 last fall session; I can’t wait to continue my CYT journey! I have been a performer since the age of 2, singing in church and school choirs; and I have been dancing since I was 6 doing everything from tap, ballet and jazz to competitive cheer for 8 years. In recent years I have been able to further grow my love of theatre. I have performed in nearly 30 productions in the San Antonio area and been involved on the tech crew for roughly 15 others. I will also be choreographing CYT’s upcoming mainstage Elf the Musical! I am so excited and blessed to be a part of this CYT family and I cant wait for another awesome session!
